Clock Quest for Ages 2-4

Learn to tell the time.

Clock Quest draws a real analogue clock face and asks the child to read it. Analogue time is one of the few things that has genuinely got harder to learn as digital displays took over, and it only comes from repeated practice with a real dial, which is what this game is for.

The 2-4 level is about getting used to the clock face at all: large, simple whole-hour times on the biggest dial the screen will hold.

What it teaches

• Five-minute intervals around the dial

How to play

1. Look at the clock face on the screen.
2. Find the short hand first. That is the hour.
3. Then read the long hand for the minutes.
4. Tap the time that matches.
